Choosie Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Choosie (the "Service"), operated by Seam Apps ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Choosie, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be 18+ and legally able to enter into these Terms.
• You must provide accurate information, including a truthful date of birth.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.
• We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

2. The Service

Choosie randomly connects users for live one-on-one video chat. If both people choose each other, you become a match and can chat and call each other back. We do not guarantee matches, connections, the conduct of other users, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Community Guidelines & acceptable use

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, which you accept in the app. You will not:

• Display nudity or sexual content, or engage in sexually explicit conduct on camera.
• Harass, threaten, bully, or harm other users, or use hate speech.
• Use the Service if you are under 18, or attempt to interact with minors.
• Engage in illegal activity, scams, or solicitation, or share others' private information.
• Record, screenshot, or redistribute other users without their consent where prohibited by law.
• Impersonate others, use bots, or attempt to circumvent bans, blocks, or safety features.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report or block any user at any time. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours, including removing offending content and suspending or permanently banning users who violate these rules.

4. Safety & your responsibility

Choosie connects you with strangers over live video. Use good judgment and caution. Do not share sensitive personal, financial, or contact information. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, and interactions are at your own risk. If you feel unsafe, end the call, block the user, and report them.

5. Subscriptions & purchases

Choosie may offer optional paid features and subscriptions. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your app store account. Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.

6. Content & license

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant us a limited license to host and transmit your content as needed to operate the Service (for example, relaying your live video to the person you're connected with, and storing your messages so you can read them). We do not record your video calls.

7. Termination

You may stop using Choosie and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the conduct of other users, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, may notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
